Workshop will take place outdoors under the oak tree or inside our beautiful barn. ![]() No children under 10 will be permitted.All participants will take home a 6 oz jar of freshly harvested honey.This workshop is hands on but there will be no live bees.Organic refreshments from our farmhouse kitchen will be served. ![]() Then, things will get a little sticky as we move into the hands-on experience of processing our very own farm honey! You’ll participate in the extraction method (which uses centrifugal force to spin the honey out of the combs) and then fill up your very own jar straight from the spout to take home! Join us for the sweetest part of beekeeping! Master Beekeeper Chris Kelly, along with our resident farm beekeepers of The Golden Apiary, Kelly Brennan and Amy Fideli, will provide a hands-on honey harvest experience! Learn all about the fascinating world of honeybees and the important role these pollinators play in our ecosystem and on our organic farm.
